IMPORTANT UPDATE: Until, further notice, we will remain open, and have no plans to close our preschool/childcare at present. We are continuing the same sanitation procedures that we have had in place all year and are mandated by DHHS. We are also increasing both the frequency and intensity of every day cleaning and sterilization efforts. Click here for full details »
We are committed to growing up in God’s Word and reaching out to all people in Christian love. We believe that children learn through play and hands on experiences. In order to develop and nurture the whole child, a caring and loving environment will be provided. Opportunities for creative play, learning activities, Bible stories, music, art, snack and worship will be implemented into the curriculum which is designed to be child-focused, age-appropriate, and most importantly Christ-centered. We believe in providing a safe, nurturing Christian learning environment where children feel safe to explore and learn. We feel the best way to minister to children is to minister to their families.
“I welcome the opportunity to tell you more about our preschool and childcare. St. Mark Lutheran Preschool and Childcare is a ministry of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. I believe that children need to feel safe and know that they are loved…
"Our daughters have loved the caring and supportive staff at St. Mark. They create a warm, safe environment with engaging activities that both support academic learning and a love for Jesus. We love St. Mark Preschool!" Nathan and Jamie Jank
“St. Mark Lutheran Preschool & Childcare has been great in aiding our children in their early education and childhood development. Our girls (Sania and Zoe Conley) love attending the school and being able to interact with the students and teachers daily. As parents, we also love St. Mark Preschool. It’s a learning institution that exemplifies such qualities as the importance of learning, family, and God. These qualities are staples in our home and we love that those same qualities are very important at St. Mark. Thank you.”
